FP7 CSA

EUCO-Net is a Coordination and Support Action funded under Theme 1 HEALTH of the specific programme Cooperation of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).

FP7 is the EU's main instrument for funding research in Europe and runs from 2007 to 2013.

As a Coordination and Support Action, EUCO-Net is not a research project, but aimed at coordinating research activities and policies, and contributing to the preparation of future Community research and technological development policy including the development of synergies with other policies.

Starting on November 1st 2008, EUCO-Net will set up a global AIDS/TB network, linking European countries with target regions from four other continents. The network will compile and publish a Roadmap on opportunities for joint research in the area of AIDS and TB.
